Tailgate Information

Thanks for your interest in reserving a tailgate spot at the OHFAR event & Harvest Festival. Please note that tailgate spots are considered a charitable donation and are $500 / spot. Each spot is BYO, includes premier viewing opportunities of the finish line, and includes general admission into the Harvest Festival.
  • When you complete this form, we will hold a spot for you for 10 days and will confirm your reservation once payment has been received.  
  • We recommend an approximate party size of 10-20 people / spot....not only does this make it affordable should you want to split the costs with family and friends, it leaves enough room to have a great time.   
  • Hay bales will be made available and delivered to your spot for if purchased in advance for $10 / bale.

Upon receiving payment in full (for reserved tailgate spots and hay bale purchases), you will receive a reserved parking space number, and further instructions via email.

By Reserving Your Spot you are indicating responsibility for your party and are agreeable to the following expectations:
  • Gates open at 8 a.m. Post time for the first race is 10:00 a.m. All primary tailgate vehicles must be on the grounds by 9am. All spectators must be off the grounds by 5 p.m. Tailgate set-up will not be available until the gates open Saturday morning.
  • No one who appears intoxicated will be admitted to the grounds. ID checks will be made throughout the day. Underage drinkers will be arrested.
  • Excessive alcohol consumption will not be tolerated. No drinking games will be permitted (i.e. blocks of ice for drink luges, funnels and pails with hoses, beer pong tables, etc.).
  • Alcoholic Beverages MUST remain in designated tailgate area, and are not permitted into the Harvest Festival. Or, alcohol may be purchased AND consumed in the designated Bier Garden. There will be no allowed transporting of alcohol within the festival outside of designated areas.
  • All attendees are responsible for disposing of their own trash. 
  • Tents that obstruct views and site-lines will not be permitted.
  • Loud music is strictly prohibited.
  • Spectators are not permitted on the racecourse. Pedestrians are permitted to cross the track at specified gates between races.
  • At no time are spectators permitted to pet or disturb animals unless accompanied by Valley Crest Farm & Preserve Equestrian team as part of a purchased pony ride.
  • Anyone leaving the grounds must discard all open alcohol containers before exiting the property.
